Friday, August 17, 2012 1:16:07 PM It's a break-barrel bb-gun or pellet rifle, folks. She's probably keeping the squirrels away from the bird feeders.

Friday, August 17, 2012 7:02:34 AM Guns, alcohols, and recalled bumbo on an elevated surface. Baby has a low chance of survival. |

Friday, August 17, 2012 6:42:45 AM Relax people, it's a pellet gun, look the where the barrel meets the gun, there's a pivot point. Pellet gun is fine around kids without ear protection. Though someone may shoot their eye out. |

Friday, August 17, 2012 5:46:05 AM hahaha....the best part is how they just recently recalled those Bumbo chairs because of people doing exactly this (putting it on an elevated surface, I don't mean the guns and alcohol). now they have some stupid recall kit with a seatbelt you're supposed to install so your kid doesn't fall over and get hurt when you ignore safety warnings and don't watch them. |

Friday, August 17, 2012 1:41:33 AM Nothin' wrong with that pic. Twas taken before the recall. Fine lookin' woman. My exe could shoot almost as good as me! The gun looks pretty small caliber and the child looks happy. I always thought Mother of the Year was supposed to be derogatory. This woman deserves kudos. |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 11:57:38 PM Ok- she has her childs bumbo on an elevated surface...... thats it- ignore the rest. Even for a set up that is NOT acceptable. |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 11:04:01 PM No Hammer, air gun. Empty Jack bottle may have been there for a while.Frankly, a mom who can shoot can keep a kid pretty dang safe. |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 10:39:08 PM For everyone pointing out that she's not holding the gun correctly or saying that she's a bad mother; the picture is obviously staged and shouldn't be worth any attention. |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 9:29:29 PM No, don't generalize her as an American mom. Plenty of us American moms would never have any aspect of this scenario in their child's life. This is an idiotic and irresponsible "mother" |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 8:32:18 PM Some of you may not realize that those glasses are for looking through, not for drinking; she is firing an air rifle with a tiny sound; her husband is overlooking the kid. |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 6:23:52 PM Two points: 1) BB/Pellet guns do not require ear protection. 2) The Bumbo recall was this week, I'm sure this picture was taken before that. Also, the recall involves the following steps: -make sure the restraint belt is installed as it should be -adding an extra sticker to STRESS installation of the restraint belt -asking people to follow usage instructions of restrain belt -don't use any accessories that interfear with the restraint belt. In other words, the VOLUNTARY recall is to add MORE warnings on how to use the restraint belt because people are too dumb to follow directions and common sense. |

Thursday, August 16, 2012 6:15:24 PM Ear protection? It's a bb gun... The biggest problem here is that those chairs were just recalled. |
