Not being able to walk is a biatch. It took me 4 months to re-learn how after being sick for 2 years and then a 3 month coma. I was told I never would walk again. I can't run quite yet but that's my next goal. My wife and doctors ask what kept me going.
I told them spite. |

I have no ideal how it is still possible to walk or stand with all those muscles missing.
I've often wondered this as well. Walking on two legs is essentially controlled falling, and without muscles to adjust, I'm surprised they don't fall more often. |

Oh dear, poor girl. I wonder what happened to her. Notice that her right hand is a different color than the left one, leading me to believe that it's a prosthetic too, and that the left one looks deformed? |
