Sunday, August 12, 2012 1:58:37 PM Felt exactly the same about the BBC's coverage here in Britain. If there were no events with British athletes involved it just went to TV presenters talking about how great Britain was doing. I guess every country's the same. |

Saturday, August 11, 2012 10:32:25 PM I live in Canada but I get only US stations on my dish and I was very disappointed with the coverage on NBC. Of course they should focus on Americans but a mention now and then aboot how their friendly neighbours to the North were doing would have been appreciated. I'll be pulling out the old school antenna in 2014. |

Saturday, August 11, 2012 1:52:37 AM </sarcasm on> you are all looking at it wrong, i mean, the important stuff was right, and ok, only 20% of the flags are right, ok, but, 100 % of the list, and in total, that makes 120% right, so thats good... <\sarcasm off> lemme see if i got it right though, feel free to correct me, 2nd is new australia and a bunch of islands, then Taiwan, then i am thinking germany and last is Canada, well, they were close... i guess |

Friday, August 10, 2012 8:43:50 PM "Purely as a matter of interest, a part of the county of Yorkshire, (in england), attained more gold medals than the country of Australia. This is not jingoism; merely observation..." I observe Australia's flag in 2nd place in this picture...and this is jingoism! |

Friday, August 10, 2012 5:23:57 PM i had written a whole piece about the dangers of patriotism with the caveat that i'm incredible proud to be British right now. but then i thought f*ck it, who cares what i think, deleted the lot and wrote this rambling load of bollox instead. My thought process ladies and gentleman *waits for applause* your welcome. |

Friday, August 10, 2012 2:54:36 PM The strangest part is that Taiwan is not allowed to compete under that flag at the Olympics anyway. They have to compete as "Chinese Taipei" with a white flag that has a red and blue symbol in the middle. |

Friday, August 10, 2012 2:16:16 PM This is such a blatant and ridiculous f.uckup that it had to be some sort of technical glitch. Nobody intentionally put those flags with those countries because they thought it was right. |
