Friday, August 10, 2012 2:39:09 PM I can't name them, but i'm fairly certain of the chronological order. Is it 3,1,2 from left to right?

Friday, August 10, 2012 11:14:01 AM I'd love to see a political party propose a 1% increase on income tax to be assigned solely to scientific research with absolutely no consideration for short-term practical applications. That would be a government who fulfilled one of the most important functions of a government - improving the future of the country and everyone in it. It would go a huge way towards swaying my voting. Unless they had other policies that I considered very wrong ideed, I'd vote for them. |

Friday, August 10, 2012 11:09:55 AM They should have plagues ravage their communities at unpredictable intervals (and have no idea what caused them). They should have on average at least half a dozen children each and watch most of them die before reaching adulthood. They should be at risk of death from infection of any injury and they should be injured more often (farming with hand tools will result in cuts more often than most modern jobs). They should be old by 40 (if they survive that long, which they probably won't), worn out by a life of hard work. In short, they should suffer like they want everyone to suffer. It's much the same here. Arsebrained idiots trying to ruin the future for the sake of trivial amounts of money because they're so drating ignorant and stupid that they can't even understand the benefits of science when they are surrounded by them every second of every day. |

Friday, August 10, 2012 11:09:49 AM All of you bitching about how much this cost should turn off your computer, take off your Velcro strap shoes, never go to the hospital, and just sit in a dark room until you die. I disagree. They should go all the way to putting their money where their mouth is, not just part of the way. So at the very least they should live without any technology invented since the beginnings of Greek philosophy. They should drat off right now and live in a wattle and daub roundhouse with a shallow firepit in the middle being their only source of light and heat. They should work dawn to dusk most days and they should know that if the harvest is bad one year they might starve to death. They shouldn't have any access to any food from more than a few miles away. They shouldn't have any water source other than streams, etc. They shouldn't have any sewerage system. |

Space exploration and research made possible most of the things you enjoy. If you have a problem with it, then give up all it has given to you. |
