Saturday, August 11, 2012 9:28:15 AM Sorry I misunderstood. Your response of "Ask a smoker" to a question about choice made it seam like you were trying to reinforce the lie that being gay is a choice. I apologize for the confusion.

Saturday, August 11, 2012 8:28:36 AM Smoking is a choice and it kills people, religion is a choice and it kills people who happen to be born in the wrong place at the wrong time. People do both of these things without regard of the fact that they are liable to be killed for, or by, doing them. I am not saying that being gay is a choice, I am saying that this is not a very good argument. Yes, a person would risk death, sorry DEATH, over a choice, millions have and continue to do so. |

Friday, August 10, 2012 10:49:36 PM Religion is a choice, being gay is not. A child of a Christian family who is switched at birth with a Jewish family will be Jewish. A gay child who is switched at birth will be gay wherever they end up. Being out in a country like Iran or Uganda takes incredible courage and DOES blow the "choice" myth out of the water. |

Friday, August 10, 2012 10:26:27 PM 5000000 people around the world Half in less developed countries. I'm pretty sure that is a much higher figure than those shot or hung for anything. However, my point was that "so now ask yourself, would a person risk DEATH over a choice?" was a really silly statement that easily gave opponents a route of attack. How many Christians, Jews, etc died for their faith? They all had a choice. Have a nice life, but don't ex[ect to get away with spouting garbage. 677778888888888888888 888888888888888888888888888 888888888888888888888 My cat also had a message for you |

Friday, August 10, 2012 10:35:33 AM "Ask a smoker." Thank you so much. I will warn my smoking friends that they are at risk of getting shot or hung. I knew smoking was dangerous but yikes! |

Thursday, August 09, 2012 5:59:41 PM Earlier this year the compatriot of a slain gay rights activist in Uganda (the names escape me at the moment) won the RFK memorial Human Rights Award to support their badly needed ongoing work. And Goddess go with them, says I. |

Thursday, August 09, 2012 5:49:39 PM I lived next door to Uganda in Kenya, which is also anti-gay and I can tell you from experience, these people are BRAVE beyond anything you could imagine. They could easily and often are killed for being found out... so now ask yourself, would a person risk DEATH over a choice? NO of course not but a person would risk death over something they cannot control, like being gay. it is 2012, wake up, get over your BS and if you don't like gay people, don't hang out with/date one. |

Thursday, August 09, 2012 4:12:03 PM I am in absolute shock by this. The people that marched in this parade and participated in the events are insanely brave. Wow! |
