emmityville, while that may be true, I dont see a link to evolving and aging gracefully. By that definition, a very wide margin of hipsters alive today could never evolve beyond who they are now and would still be considered aging gracefully. It's completely up to the individual if and when they change or evolve, if ever. There's not a magic age where you have to give it all up |

emmetyville, what are you suggesting that Manson and Robert Smith should now get respectable haircuts, wash off the makeup, and dress like normal people, all because they're older now? Doesn't that kind of undermine what they were doing all along? I fully expect Robert Smith to keep doing what he's always done as long as it suits his interests, no matter how strange it seems. After all, wouldn't you expect that an outlandish young person would simply become an outlandish older person as they aged? |
