Wednesday, August 08, 2012 11:31:49 PM @techmistress: First of all I, personally, am not offended. I also found it mildly humorous. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of so called "tolerant" people and those who would call others idiots for not thinking like them.

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 7:46:42 PM While I'm not a "believer" I've always found the original to be a beautiful lesson that can be extended to mean the assistance of anyone who has lent significant support. That being said, I found this version to be pretty damned funny. I don't think I would say those who are offended are idiots, though, just oversensitive and looking too hard for reasons to be offended. Relax! Enjoy the humor. And learn, maybe, to even laugh at yourselves from time to time. |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 4:37:01 PM It's a cartoon. If you're offended, you're an idiot. It has nothing to do with mocking religion. Personally, I thought "Eventually, everyone gets out of shape." |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 3:32:16 PM @Fancysucksss: I get it, you hate religion; But said poem does not say "I carried you so you can go blow up other people in my name". All I'm saying is some people need inspiration and assurance in their lives. No matter how weak minded you, personally, may think they are; it is hateful and intolerant to mock them. |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 1:24:13 PM Fancysucksss: it's possible, but that line of thinking is often times based on prejudice. |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 1:22:39 PM monsterzero: not at all. Mockery and scorn is such a sad thing. |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 1:17:48 PM Am I only one that thinks it's wrong that something that gives someone hope to carry on also makes people want to kill themselves, or is the cause of people killing one another because it doesn't make everyone accept each other? |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 1:09:46 PM I prefer: "But Lord, why during the hardest times in my life, there are only one set of footprints. And the Lord responded, 'because sand people always go single file to hide their numbers.'" |

Wednesday, August 08, 2012 12:49:01 PM Am I the only one that thinks it's wrong to make fun of something that quite possibly at one point gave someone the hope to carry on and not end it all? |
