Why is the government involved in copyright claims at all? The way those laws have always worked was that the onus of pursuing the infringer was on the claimant, so because these companies can't catch all the infringers, they pay the government to do it for them? That's not how copyright claims should work. |

i didn't even visit the site and I'm pissed about this. Does anyone else feel like we're losing more and more freedom every day, especially in the US? It's about the money, regardless of political affiliation, it's always been about the money. The only difference is that the republicans are, for the most part, up front about it. Afterall they're not supporting some faceless hollywood corporations, they're supporting a person, a very, very rich person because, if I may quote a certain famous politician, corporations are people my friend and someone needs to stick up for these poor defenseless folks...right? |

Okay, I can understand why Hollywood wants to shut down all the file-sharing services. What I don't understand, though is why the Republican house is carrying the water for these Hollywood liberal f***tards. I think it's funny how everyone is quick to point out that Demonoid didn't allow porn, hahaha! I started using Demonoid a lot because I could usually find some of more "hard to find" older B & Grindhouse Horror films that I never saw anywhere else. |

Demonoid was unique in that they allowed NO PORN! NONE! Which is nice if you're actullay wanting something besides p0rn eh?
The Pirate Bay is another one, even bigger! Allows p0rn.
isoHunt searches various websites for content. Again no actual content is stored on their website.
DepositFiles Like MegaUpload actually HAVE files stored on-site. They don't depend on peer-sharing, you can download directly from them.
