Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:38:58 AM Wow. The tolerance of this group that preaches tolerance is quite compassionate... Oh wait, no, this just proves that everyone is a hypocrite. The comparison is no longer "I am no hypocrite, but you are." it's "How much less of a hypocrite am I compared to you?" |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:38:11 AM "When you are for equality, and free speech. You must be even when you disagree." Say you were having a conversation with someone who was anti-free speech. Sure, you, as a proponent of free speech, should respect their right to believe whatever it is that they believe. However, if this person is actually actively chipping away at that right using the law, is that not different? Regardless of what anyone believes, these people are not treated as equals in our country. That's what it boils down to, and there is no excuse for that, especially not a religious one. |

What a bunch of idiots. Protest Chic - fine. Telling another guy who he should worship or that he can't have the same freedom of speach they're expressing... FAIL |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:33:23 AM People need to realize that intolerance towards intolerance is not intolerant. It's much easier to be Christian in this country than it is to be gay. People like the man being "mocked" are keeping the men doing the "mocking" from being equal. That's something worth fighting for. That's something worth arguing about. |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:32:35 AM Imagine if the roles were reversed.... Oh the victimization. The discussion was fine. But being a hypocrite is what they were in trying to humiliate a single person with their group. Isn't that what they are against? Shouting over and taunting does not prevail in a discussion. Being passionate about an issue is no excuse for the behavior. When you are for equality, and free speech. You must be even when you disagree. |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:30:46 AM @MeGrendel, Yes. That is what I'm saying. These anti-gay people are spewing their hatred. Forcing their opinions on others. What difference does it make to you, if a gay man wants to get married? It doesn't affect you in any way. Yet, for some unknown reason, you feel that others should believe in your magical sky wizard and do his bidding. When racists take away black rights, we should stand up and fight them. When Christian nut bars try to force their B.S. on others and take away another humans rights, we should stand up and fight them. You talk about tolerance. For you, if you "tolerate" gay marriage, nothing changes in your life. For them, if they tolerate your crazy and evil sky wizard, they are forced to be second class citizens. Sorry MeGrendel, it is your group that needs to learn tolerance. |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:22:12 AM @patchouly So you're saying that the only ones who need to be 'tolerant' are white, christian males? Why is it that the very people who DEMAND 'tolerance' are the very ones who never demonstrate it in thier own attitudes? |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:18:50 AM What a bunch of hypocrites preaching tolerance and then verbally assaulting this man for his beliefs. When did we, as a society, begin to accept that it was fine to discriminate against some and not others. This is just as wrong as a group of Christians verbally assaulting a gay man about his beliefs. Imagine the uproar that hypothetical video would cause though. Wrong is wrong. |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:10:56 AM Sorry, but if the hatred and evil that is spewed by these so called "Christians" is met with hate, how can that be blamed? |

Tuesday, August 07, 2012 10:09:47 AM I don't see the problem here. They weren't being violent. They're guilty of being annoying, definitely, but nothing more. |
