Andrew155. Yes you may be the only one to state that. Whitey is the dominant paradigm and there are no words that adequately compare with the racial epithets created by whitey to describe the other people that are not whitey. Cracker, Honky, white trash, Hillbilly etc. are used to describe white folks that are stereotypically considered ignorant, uneducated and just plain stupid. And? It is unfortunately true. I am a poor white person, I do not have a red neck and I do not live in the hills. I have a job and I have a college education, yet I am still poor. Whitey does not deserve a break. Look who runs our country and most of the 1st world. Variations on whitey. I ain't dont remember the point I was a makin cause I been suckin down the shine and hittin on my lil sister. |

I feel like I'm the only one who cringes at the words hillbilly, redneck, and white trash. These are essentially epithets describing poor white people. Now, it would be ok if terms like black trash and burrito trash were also in common use. But they're not, because those terms are dumb. |
