No there is not.
I'd hope that most (intelligent) US citizens would be pleased with their position on the medal table, they've run China (who had more resources at their disposal) a close second all things considered.
In some ways the Robot and the games are very similar, a lot of time and effort went into something that could have been a woeful flop. I'm pretty proud of what 'us' Brits managed to achieve here(for once).
I'm also impressed that the Mars Rover pulled off its Thunderbirds landing technique. The mars rover *is* quite something. Sincerely, well done USA.
..and will the real winner of the medal table please stand up...

I've been sitting here playing in a social on-line game and watching the movie, "The Right Stuff." I'm stressing about some trivial in-game conflicts and thinking, here's a movie that's a true story about men doing something worthwhile and heroic and I'm getting all stressed over a game in a virtual world. Try to remember what's important and what's just a game. |
