Total crap! They could have at least made SOME effort to put the clips into some sort of chronological order to illustrate the time evolution of the technology. After jumping back and forth from 16-bit VGA to 8-bit Atari for the 3rd time, I stopped it halfway through. |

That was pretty dull, so I'll hijack this and say I saw TOTAL RECALL last night.
I know, we all thought it was impossible. We thought without Mars it was worthless. But I gotta say, they really pulled it off. TOTAL RECALL totally delivers!
At first I thought, "Oh, lame" 'cause the style is a Blade Runner ripoff. Massive over-crowding, everythings in chinese & very wet. But 10 minutes in it pucks up and doesn't stop!
The bad news... Colin Farrels performance. He sort of stumbles through it with a confused look on his face the whole time. But he's worked out and has a nice body so who cares?
This movie gives new meaning to the phrase "Talk To The Hand"... that's all I'm sayin'. |
