Sunday, August 05, 2012 8:02:36 AM There should be a new term for people who are against traditional marriage, we'll call them heterophobes a term we'll use with a broad brush regardless of whether the opposing view is truly afraid of them or not. So for the record while I may disagree with the homosexual movement, I am not afraid of these people, nor do I hate them, furthermore I have gay people in my own family. I also apologize to the gay people on this site whom I'm sure I've offended in the past with my less than polite comments. |

Sunday, August 05, 2012 1:56:50 AM "Not he's sorry." is bothering me. Three seconds, man. Three seconds to check what you just typed. "exec" should probably be "exec.", also. *sigh* |

Sunday, August 05, 2012 1:34:30 AM "Hi, Pot, meet Kettle..." Ollie is an anonymous internet persona. He's probably perfectly fine with you calling said persona hateful. "Arizona is a right-to-work state." I hear this constantly on the internet when referring to business owner's rights. I do not think it means what you think it means. Right-to-work laws have nothing to do with a businesses right to fire whomever they please. It means, I, as a skilled laborer working in a field that is HIGHLY unionized was able to get a contracted job through a family member and a couple of vets without joining the national union in my field. I won't join said union, but I have the right-to-work provided I show the same competence as any other union worker. I'm frequently amazed how little people on the internet ACTUALLY know rather than parrot. |

Sunday, August 05, 2012 12:36:51 AM "But in fact he can sue the hell out of his company for firing him, and I hope he does." Also, Arizona is a right-to-work state. They can fire you for tying your shoes wrong and you have no legal recourse. It's a glorious thing. |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 10:51:31 PM You can apologize for being a nasty little liberal prick, but that doesn't change the fact that you are still a nasty little liberal prick. Your characterization of groups that disagree with your liberal political positions as "hate groups" is in and of itself a despicable act of hate on your part, and you are just repeating that hate again here. I hope your hate eats a hole in your gut. I'm glad you got fired, and I hope you never find another job so you end up a homeless derelict dependent on the charity of the Christians you hate so much. |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 10:39:27 PM "If you're an employee, no. But in fact he can sue the hell out of his company for firing him, and I hope he does." You're completely wrong. Anyone in the real world around middle class wage or higher working for a corporation or government are going to have contract clauses against publicly disgracing said corporation/government with political propaganda or criminal activity. How do you get to 30+ years and not notice this yet? |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 3:40:00 PM Him again must be a real treat to work with. Don't think he got fired just because of this. They just found an excuse to get rid of him. |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 3:25:00 PM I don't think he did anything wrong in the first place. He just showed up and voiced his opinion. Good on him. His company fired him for practicing his freedom of speech. Period. If you're the president of a company you can say whatever you want. If you're an employee, no. But in fact he can sue the hell out of his company for firing him, and I hope he does. |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 12:08:13 PM the usual, "now that i am in trouble for my actions i realize the error of my ways". we've seen his true colors already. looks like those "homophobics" at chic-fil-a have higher morals than this guy. |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 12:02:28 PM You will get no sympathy from the internets. To me he is just a d-bag on the internet who did something stupid. IRL he is a guy, with a family, who lost a good job for being rude to someone on his personal time. |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 10:49:31 AM "it's just some weak guy apologising for expressing his genuine opinion..." So now you care about people being allowed to express their genuine opinion? |

Saturday, August 04, 2012 10:34:58 AM I would only accepted a sorry if he did a video of himself just saying "Sorry I am a non-nice individual, no excuses." I sat through this painful thing and 4 mins in he turns a sorry video into a "I am a freedom fighter" video. He gets to keep his king douche crown! |

I'm not interested in watching this if, as I suspect from the comments, it's just some weak guy apologising for expressing his genuine opinion in the misguided hope that it will get him his job back. In which case he's not just lost his job, but his dignity as well. I'd only have been impressed if he'd made an apology video to say "I'm sorry to have called you homophobic, what I meant to say is you're homophobic *and* stupid; I'm glad to have had this opportunity to clarify my intent".
