Except for that inconvenient fact that just their being here is, in and of itself, a crime, which makes their crime rate 100%. |

False studies are false.
"Immegrant men" includes every race and nationality.
The high viloent crime rate is specifically illegal mexicans.
I dont' see many illegal canadian drug rings in California. |

If you were an illegal immigrant, and you wanted to NOT be deported, I think you would do your best to not run afoul of the law. |

Andrew, this is not a problem of (illegal) immigration, this is a problem of lax or none existing workers protection. In the Uk you see this happening too. people working for lower saleries get the job. But why is it their fault if companies are underpaying people? if you look at countries like germany or the netherlands, there, employers have to pay a minimum wage for a job, regardless of where a person comes from. This in turn prevents companies to underpay their employers, so you basicly can do with one job, rather then 2 or more to make ends meet. |

How the fuq is this even logical? An illegal imigrant is constantly breaking the law by being a fuqing illegal imigrant! That's like saying that drunk drivers break road laws less than non drunk drivers!!! |

Ugh, Non-immigrants are 2.5 times as likely as immigrants to land in a correctional institution. That's only a slight increase to the expected likelihood of 2-to-1, given that immigrants make up 35% of the population.
Also, aren't illegal immigrants simply deported for many crimes? That would explain their poor attendance in prisons. |

Illegal immigration is one of the primary causes of poverty in America, and the reasons for wages not really rising in the past 30 years.
Basically, when you have million upon millions of people flooding into a country, willing to work for nothing, you create a HUGE surplus of labor. This alone leads to decreased wages because employers don't even have to offer competitive salaries anymore. Moreover, they'll work for less than an American would so they are more likely to get employed, and Americans will be left out.
This has been especially bad for lower class Americans, especially African Americans. It's a common fallacy that "they do the jobs Americans don't want to do". We have over 8% unemployment, real unemployment is much higher. It's almost as if there's a surplus of labor. |
