I didn't say in my submission that Snoop claims to be Bob Marley, re-incarnated. Editors: Come on, I understand that my submission included a verbose commentary but context is important and it's my internet alias attached to this post. CONTEXT! I didn't state that I read into this story that Snoop Lion claims to be Bob Marley's ghost, FFS. I am responsible for this terrible line: Snoop changes name to something with more Mane-stream appeal and goes Reggae. -- And I think I embarrassed myself enough without the poor editorial adjustment. Snoop need not piggy back off anyone. He's a legend and one of the most talented MC's of all time. He could drop an album right now and blow anything currently called, "hip hop", out of the water. If he's doing a Reggae Album it's because he's bored.
It's no different then Johnny Cash covering all the singers he covered during his career and pretending that he spent time in jail.
