Here in wonderful Olympic U-K land the word 'fag' is a short word / colloquial expression for cigarette.
e.g.: "Got a spare fag, mate?" means 'I say old chap would you be kind enough to donate me one of your cancer-sticks?'.
If god hated fags in the UK, smoking would be noticeably decreased and the incidence of smoking related diseases would correspondingly reduce. This would be a source of great happiness to the national health service and the TAX-PAYER alike.
If these religious bigots really wanted to do humankind a favour, they would focus their campaign on the UK.
However, If there was one amongst them bright enough to see the difference between American and English colloquialisms, they would be prosecuted for sexual discrimination.
Poor old human race, blessed with the ability to communicate, but not the intelligence to put that ability to good use.
