Explanation: What's happening above those clouds? In the past few years, videos have appeared on the web detailing an unusual but little known phenomenon: rapid light changes over clouds. Upon inspection and contemplation, a leading hypothesis for its cause has now emerged. In sum, this hypothesis holds that a lightning discharge in a thundercloud can temporarily change the electric field above the cloud where charged ice crystals were reflecting sunlight. The new electric field quickly re-orients the geometric crystals to a new orientation that reflects sunlight differently. In other words, a lightning discharge can cause a sundog to jump. Soon, the old electric field may be restored, causing the ice crystals to return to their original orientation. To help this curious phenomenon become better studied, sky enthusiasts with similar jumping or dancing sundog videos are encouraged to share them.

Gee, maybe tomorrow I will spend a few hrs with a video camera and film the clouds as well and see what happens, maybe there is something interesting going on in the lawn, Wait for it, I will show you later what happens to a pile of dirt. |

Ugggh. As the original poster says on YouTube, this video was taken outdoors, poolside, in Singapore. It was not shot through a window. So please refrain from the "it's a reflection on the glass" comments. >.<
You see that variety of clouds converging? They're discharging static electricity as they merge. The ice crystals that are floating between the clouds are changing their orientation as they align and realign with the static charge in the clouds.
I've see this out the windows of a plane; it's not all that uncommon. |

there is some glass involved. there are dark spots that are moving that are obviously not clouds and on some glass. looks like it is taken thru a dirty window..

Ice crystals, aligning and realigning their polarities as small lightning bolts are hopping between clouds discharging static electricity. (You can't see the flashes of lightning because they're small and because of the bright sunlight.)
Or, if you prefer, aliens preparing to take over the Earth. |

It did look like it (the moving part) was MUCH closer to the camera than the clouds...
OR the top of a thunderhead is a very strange place... |
