Monday, July 30, 2012 11:52:28 AM That joke wasn't even funny, and not because of the shooting, just because it was a crappy joke and a horrible delivery. Figures that a lot of the people here find him so funny. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 4:40:04 PM Of course the movie sucked. There hasn't been a good movie since before the internet was invented. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 12:47:13 PM Funny. I was thinking that someone at that point was wondering why they paid the extra for a 3-D experience. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 12:33:05 PM I hate Cook. I think he is a joke stealing (proven fact) hack.... ....but the movie did suck. He is correct. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 11:54:43 AM I just feel bad for the owner of the Laugh Factory... all this bad press.. F*ck you, Cook. That movie was awesome. Just because it wasn't a bunch of meaningless fight scenes strung together by Michael Bay doesn't mean it sucked. I'll tell you why you didn't like it--because the movie had intellectual value. It gave you complex depictions of freedom, duty, loyalty and class strife, and you apparently couldn't swallow them. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 11:51:21 AM joke was unoriginal but it WAS funny. lighten up and before you tell me "you wouldn't be laughing if you were in the shooting." I wasn't at the shooting, nor was the audience a gathering of the victims family or related people. Sure there is a line on how far you can go with this type of stuff but why should the rest of us have to be 100% sensitive to the feelings of people we didn't know in a state we've never even been to. Bottom line, he made a joke for the sake of humor, he wasn't mocking in the spirit of malice, so stay calm and carry on. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 11:03:59 AM @Chagrin, Shock value is actually one of the core elements of a joke, it's just not always talking about death and other taboo stuff. |

Friday, July 27, 2012 10:44:02 AM Oh, he better get in worse trouble for this than Tosh got in for the rape joke. Not that either of them should get in trouble, but if we're gonna throw one comedian under the bus for a dumb joke, we might as well throw them all under. Let the people know: we shall not stand for crappy comedy! Seems likes both of them told a joke for the sake of shock value, and don't realize shock value isn't funny. Also: Dane Cook stole this bit from someone else, as usual. Except it was originally "You ever think Kennedy said 'I need another parade like I need a hole in the head'?" and then the audience groans, and the comedian says "What? Too soon? I should've gone with the Lincoln joke." |

Friday, July 27, 2012 10:21:02 AM Why are people clapping? I'd like to see them live through that poo and have the balls to clap at a tasteless joke. |
