The day was like any typical Kalispell day, until the chief read the day's police report. The coffee cup stopped at his lips as he thought, "What the hell happened at 10:14?" The question hung in his mind like a body hanging from a noose, the kind one would discover in a haunted house and you're not sure if it's just fake or if it's some guy dressed up in a fancy harness that makes it LOOK like he's been hung, and he's gonna shake or scream or something like that, ya know, to scare you when you walk past. |
