Apply for FAC (Firearms Aquisition Certificate) requires PERMISSION form your Ex-Wife and/or your Ex-Girlfriends!
I haven't seen/spoken to my ex-wife in 15 years  I hope to continue that trend!
Buying illegal gun: If you're not too fussy, you go to the Merchant's Hotel on Selkirk Ave, tell scummy-looking people you'd like to buy a pistol. Wait 1 hour. Buy pistol.

Canada has guns, but the bureaucracy is nuts!
!8 months to get license, 2 month plus fee for the safety course, 2 to 8 months for the registration papers. And if your getting a restricted weapon, there another 4 months and a compliance inspection. And this is for legal guns.
Now the illegal stuff smuggled from the States, go to major city and/or major border community, pay couple hundred to couple thousand (depending on weapon desired) to smuggler/dealer around 2 weeks you have weapon of choice, hoping the your shipment didn't get busted buy the cops/boarder patrol; or the dealer was dud/scam.
both are expensive, but one guarantees (almost) that you could walk away with your gun (in a lock box) |
