Seems I've been beat to the point. That she's his mother had everything to do with it and if anything, religion is the problem, not the solution. But the Jeezus freaks will never change. BTW Westborough Baptist Church is planning on picketing the site of the Aurora, Colorado shootings claiming "God is at work" there. I guess that 6 year old was gay. Religion = not the solution since the beginning of religion. |

Okay, so, call me a cynic, but, looks to me like everyone was exceptionally calm, including the hostage. Too calm. I mean, some of those pics look like it's just few people hanging out downtown. Well, except for the ice pick in the pic. But, even that, he seemed to be barely holding it. I don't know a thing about hostage situations, but, the pics of this one don't convince me that anything nearly as "crazed" described was going on. |

Good for her- doesn't matter what we believe- or what she believes- but what the assailant believed. If he 'thought' the crucifix had power and could make him let the child go it worked. In this circumstance I do not care- the child was saved. |
