Well, this really has nothing to do with her being a woman, or even about her labia. God knows how many stories we can find about people really disliking a body part and than doing something about it.
But, speaking of the vagina, I think the problem is that a lot of women just don't look at theirs a lot. It's way more hidden than a penis. The more you look at something - the more you get used to it and it seems normal. |

All the more reason why nudity shouldnt be censored, if a muslim woman was worried that her teeth were ugly because she never saw another womans teeth that were crooked then she might be prone to this kind of anxiety. Besides, we have to tech children not to run around naked so obviously its just a social trend and not a right or wrong thing. |

If they want to change let them change.. if it causes problems then great, go for the change.. its only what YOU feel that truly matters anyway.. of course if your married and your husband says he is fine with it, you will at least know its only YOUR opinion, it isnt both.. which can help |

Not to make this all about men... women obviously have their own issues and I'm respectful of that... but penis size and look is just as big a clusterdrat of stupidity and insecurity, except with penises, 'it looks better' is seen as a legitimate reason to remove parts of the penis at birth.
EVERYONE needs to stop being so insecure about their bodies... that said, I think if people would genuinely feel better if they get surgery, I think they should have the right to do that. |

I am shocked at how women in this thread think their Vaginas are ugly! It's a delicate flower with it's own scent 
Like there are many different flowers (& scents) some are a little big and piney & some are dandirons exotic orchids, It's still pretty. Love your flowers.

People who go on about accepting yourself as you are usually don't have to deal with abnormal or grossly misshapen features themselves. There's a difference between "designer" cosmetic surgery (Michael Jackson) and people who are intensely uncomfortable - often physically - with a malformed part of their body.
Don't be so goddamned judgmental.
