Reminds me of my old workplace where item SKU's were included on price signage. The SKU's were also very formulaic, with a two letter abbreviation of the supplier and the remainder describing the product. HP21BK for example for printer ink.
We got an oversupply of packs of 15 assorted pens so set up a pallet of them with a nice big sign to show how cheap they were. In the bottom corner in nice bold ink was OWPEN15ASS |
