sparki1980, yes you're correct. Vacated wins don't count towards anything. However, if every win you have is vacated, then you only the losses. |

Yes, I'm confused about that. As I said on the adjacent article. You can be stripped of a victory if you cheated, ut ow can you be deemed to have lost because it turns out later that some associated people were pond-life?

Dinging the players' past record is useless, and really not what they did.
They vacated the record of the program.
They actually should have vacated the whole damn program. Any admininstration having anything to do with the football program should have been fired. All the equipment should have been sold and Beaver Stadium should be destroyed. |

It seems more than a little harsh to implement sanctions that damage the players as much as they do the administration and former administration. |

I am a Penn State grad. I have been very disappointed in my old school for this whole thing.
I expected to see that so called 'Death Penalty' at the end of this. I dont get the point of this decision.
This is like being told by your parents that you never went to the prom because you were grounded that day years after you already went to the prom. |
