Having worked in a call center, this isn't funny. This doesn't help anything except for making the worker on the other line feel like poo. It's not like this guy is "sticking it to the man" or directtv. It's not like the person this guy was talking to could do anything, they just had to sit there and get yelled at.
The corporation doesn't care when you, as a customer act like this. The only thing this sort of behavior achieves is making another human feel like poo for something they have no control over. |

I've come to appreciate Angry Grandpa's temper, though sometimes he goes too far. I've learned that he's pretty clearly bipolar, and takes medication for it. I don't think he even knows why he acts the way he does.
