@ 5Cats & CrakrJak:
Oh, c'mon! Nobody is going to "mistakenly" associate Bain & Bane (though we may get some glee from the homonym!). I'm a liberal, btw, and I DID watch the whole painfully stupid thing. I think Limbutt has now done the most to associate the two, frankly.
@ Gerry:
Good point about the fairness issue. Unfortunately, though, both camps tend to engage in the same type of nonsense.

@Bromethius: Point for honesty!

Sure Rush's point isn't "the best" but it's NOT "a conspiracy to name the villian Bane" like the libtards are claiming...

I failed to understand the point of this post. Are you saying that Rush said something that wasn't true? If so, what?

Rush is brilliant! With absolutely no talented whatsoever he has marketed himself and made a fortune.

Gerry, you have a seriously warped definition of the word "talent."

@ Crakrjak & 5cats - you're right. I didn't watch the whole thing.

Still, suggesting that democrats will "continue to hammer Bain Capital in the hopes that the 'sheep' would mistakenly associate it with the movie character" is weak, presumptuous, and not worthy of anyone's time or consideration.

"Rush clearly noted that 'some people', aka liberals who don't know any better, will try and make a connection between the two"

You men the way 'some people', aka conservatives who don't know any better, made a connection from Obama to the Joker? Because it's only fair when Republicans do it, not when you do it back at them.

Ah Crakr, good to hear that you have returned to beating your brain stem with a monkey wrench. Keep it up, you are almost there.

I'm assuming the liberals only listened to 30 seconds, because most of this crap is rambling. Who the drat cares anyway.

jamie76: You're demonstrating how democrats hang their 'theories' on things taken out of context.

Rush clearly noted that 'some people', aka liberals who don't know any better, will try and make a connection between the two. He DID NOT say there was a conspiracy with the makers of the movie.

But no, you liberals didn't listen to the whole thing, you listened to the first minute and hit the pause button.

If you had listened to the whole thing, you would've known that his point was that the democrats would continue to hammer Bain Capital in the hopes that the 'sheep' would mistakenly associate it with the movie character.

Yes, unfortunately many democrats are just that sheepishly stupid. Proof of that was evident in exit questions asked of Obama voters in 2008.

It appears that ALL the liberals here listened to the first 30 seconds ONLY.
Or clicked the link and read the first paragraph ONLY.
Typical.

He even quotes a news report WHICH MAKES THE CONNECTION of Bain = Bane in the "public mind".

Obama's crew attacked Mrs Romney for owning a horse! A horse she bought, btw, as help in treating her Multiple Sclerosis FFS! They attacked her for that!

I guess the liberals have been cooking this one up for a while now, considering my "Vengeance of Bane" was printed in 1993.

CrakrJak is correct. Perhaps if the rest of you actually heard what was said rather than react to hearsay and pieces taken out of context, you wouldn't typify yourselves as the very people he describes. Remember CJ, never argue with an idiot.
