Sunday, July 22, 2012 5:31:18 PM On top of what Altaru was saying 5Cats, I was responding to Grendel's point about how adverts usually display content based on the user's browsing history. Which is why 'I' was alluding First Person Shooters (as opposed to erotic Light Visual Novels, plus the image that got censored no thanks to Photobucket, not IAB, was the Combat Arms logo). Personally, to some extent I really don't care about the content displayed as the subject or as a comment in a thread. IMO IAB should not be a site for a general audience, as its hard to appeal to everyone without upsetting someone (whether it be disturbing some parents, or just annoying adult commentators). |

Saturday, July 21, 2012 4:16:38 AM mervviscious: Most internet ads are customized to the viewer's habits, the site itself has just a general idea of what's being displayed. |

Friday, July 20, 2012 11:23:06 PM @Altaru: lolz, they're not links! Just pervy stuff I imagine @FancyLad has on his HD. I'm not saying it's particularly bad enough to delete, but it's probably not a good idea to go around posting images to an adult game that you can google, even with Safe Search on, and find some very NSFW stuff. Hell, the COVER ART for that game is bad enough, let alone screenshots... Warnings would be nice for things like that. I mean, normal catgirls are reasonable. Outright eroge... Not so much. |

Friday, July 20, 2012 8:28:37 PM @Altaru: lolz, they're not links! Just pervy stuff I imagine @FancyLad has on his HD. If you and @Cajun and @Fancy think it's not appropriate I'll delete it, no worries! How my brainz work: Games = cat girl games = Lets Meow Meow Now! Really, it can be deleted, I won't mind. I still think the posting is teh stupid though... |

Friday, July 20, 2012 5:54:44 PM 5Cats! NSFW! Although I do enjoy that game, it's probably not appropriate to just throw it into conversation like that. |

Friday, July 20, 2012 3:52:55 PM this says more about the users browser history than the website. Fancy's favorite games:

Friday, July 20, 2012 3:30:02 PM Wtf? Right now there's a "WebUndies" ad here at IAB featuring "Wonder Woman" undergarments & nightwear. The HORROR! Srsly, condeming a publication for an ad placement is pretty petty, eh? Usually the fodder for jokes here (although I'm not saying IAB is joking about this tragic event, ok?). (Yet. We will, years from now...) |
