I used to be tolerant of people and their "beliefs", but after the last few decades of Fundamentalism and moving to the southern U.S i've decided to just stop..What these Morons are describing is magic.

With a size like a mountain 48-60-95 nobody would do that, And her equaly usless partner would not do that as well. Praise the lord and pass her a feeding trough. give the people a loaf of bread and they eat for a day, Show them how to grow food and she will eat all of it. |

@5cats - it's Umineko no Naku Koro ni (Umineko are seagulls though, I'd guess literally translated they're sea-cats xD )...it's great, murder mystery type thing where everything that's not known is attributed to a witch's magic, and the protagonist has to figure out how it's done by human means or else admit that magic is the only possible cause...
you could even argue that it's a matter of perspective, magic exists if you believe in it but loses effectiveness if you don't, devil's proof, pascal's wager, schrodinger's cat and other motifs all mixed into one concoction of awesomeness

I don't understand how anyone can believe in a god who tells us all to be forgiving but is petulant enough to damn us to never ending torture because we had the temerity not to worship him.
And, if you decide to believe in him, how can you claim he is all loving and benevolent? If there is an all powerful creator, the world around us is clearly be the work of a sadistic, judgemental, egotistical maniac or a moron.
I could understand the concept of a powerful creator who's a bit of a dick (like the Norse and Roman gods, always bickering and waring) or a creator who isn't all powerful or all knowing but is doing his best for us. The idea of an all powerful, benevolent creator is clearly ridiculous.
