This point can also be proven the other way around. There are many songs that have been brought out in the last few years who people find compelling because of their lyrics and how the song makes them feel, which was also written and produced by the singer. where as I can think of a few songs of the past that just makes me think....wow. Although I have to say I do massively admire Freddie. |

just goes to show the youth of today are sheep, they don't listen to what they like, they listen to what they think they should like, and its a shame, just be yourself, it doesn't matter if we don't all like the same things, just be yourself, oh and damn i love our british music legends lol |

Yep, that would be would what I hate about the music world. People who are just paid to sing, and worse than that, is the ones who can't even sing and yet get handed albums to sell as their own.
In all fairness, that nonsense dates back to Elvis, he only ever wrote a couple songs, rest were handed to him on a silver platter. |
