Friday, July 20, 2012 5:41:26 AM This point can also be proven the other way around. There are many songs that have been brought out in the last few years who people find compelling because of their lyrics and how the song makes them feel, which was also written and produced by the singer. where as I can think of a few songs of the past that just makes me think....wow. Although I have to say I do massively admire Freddie. |

Wednesday, July 18, 2012 5:26:39 AM Dave Matthews vs. Justin Bieber. Definitely an inverse correlation between talent and airplay. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 11:53:30 AM I just want to know if she payed a surrogate to carry her kid, or if Jay-Z got his mistress pregnant and they bought that kid from her. Either way, she faked her pregnancy. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 9:14:25 AM Yep, that would be would what I hate about the music world. People who are just paid to sing, and worse than that, is the ones who can't even sing and yet get handed albums to sell as their own. In all fairness, that nonsense dates back to Elvis, he only ever wrote a couple songs, rest were handed to him on a silver platter. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 8:09:28 AM freddie mercury was a showman, an entertainer. beyonce is just nominally a singer. no comparison. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 8:04:10 AM You are leaving out all the horrible music from the 70's and going with their best stuff. Trust me, there was no shortage of drivel. Yeah. Especially "Disco Duck." |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 6:33:42 AM I remember getting absolutely wrecked in a student union event once, and when Queen came on everyone went mental (Table dancing etc) A passionate series of drunk dancing and singing. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 6:31:55 AM Number one hit in 1976 Vs number one hit in 2006 Comparing a great song to an irritating plastic pop song can work both ways. |
