Tuesday, August 28, 2012 6:32:32 AM ehm.. Hindus have over 3.000.000 million gods, most are mentioned by name or described for what they look like or/and do. But anyhow, no gods will ever be as cool as Njord! |

Wednesday, July 18, 2012 4:00:34 PM It's stopped, sorry about that. @madest assassinated himself every time he hit "Post Reply" - in my opinion. He can say whatever he likes now! Except for that thing he likes to do which causes me to message @FancyLad directly with a complaint... ...other than that he's "one of us" again (sfw, it's the Gooble Gobble song from Freaks) |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 8:46:33 PM @LordJim: oh, ok. It probably got deleted by someone (@Baalth) since it's not listed in your profile. Cats, don't be a dick. When ANY Mod doesn't approve apost it drops off the list. It's 90% fancylad, 9% Kitteh, and <1% the rest of us. Your witch-hunt of accusing certain Mods of surreptitiously deleting content or abusing their power (which is what you're doing here) is insulting. You did the same character assassination of Madest, to the point where he stepped down from being a Mod. Best of my knowledge, he never censored poo, despite your accusations to the contrary. It's kinda insulting to us Mods to accuse us of favouritism, and insulting to me also, as one of them (at what point are you going to accuse me of censorship and favouritism? Or am I safe for now because I'm not a muslim? Or an outpsoken liberal?). We're all professional at what we do, and your accusations of some kind of favouritism are in your head. Seriously, stop it. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 2:28:05 PM ' And really, if you understand salvation ...' One of the stickng points for me. Don't feel the need to be saved. Haven't done anything nasty enough to need saving. Understand it as a doctrine, but it's an ugly doctrine. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 1:08:58 PM I don't think the trinity is so hard to understand, now, although I was a long time in accepting it. We (Christians and others) often talk about God in different roles, such as creator and as judge. We also talk about him in terms of being our father. Christ was special in that he was the first and only human incarnation of God. So he was, and is, both God and human. And really, if you understand salvation and have received the Holy Spirit, then to be in the presence of a Christian is to be in the presence of God. |

OR it was a repost-type thing, those sometimes get auto-deleted. @Gerry1: How about praying before a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary and still NOT being an idolator? That's stike two in my books. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 10:03:18 AM 5Cats, No, mine was a list of wierd fatwas, seems to have vanished. Maybe that means it's under consideration or something. (The breast-feeding fatwa is a hoot.) BTW, the trinity was a fairly late doctrine - third century. Tertullian, a nasty piece of work whose other main contribution to christian thought was that one of the major pleasures in heaven was to watch the torments of the damned. A son in heaven could watch his pagan mother being tortured forever and relish it because he would have no knowledge that it was his mother. The mother, on the other hand, would know her son was enjoying her pain and that would add deliciously to her suffering. Theology, doncha love it?

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 7:33:38 AM The trinity, lol. I love the part before the crucifixion, in the garden of Gethsemane when Jesus pleads to his father? Wait, the holy spirit? . . . I mean himself. Yeah, he pleads to himself, that makes perfect sense. Wow. You really know it's bull**** when 2/3 of the christians don't even believe it. |

"The Christian trinity isn't three gods. It's still one god. It's an odd setup, but they're pretty clear about it being one god." Anyone who can worship The Father, The Son, AND The Holy Ghost, but still call in monotheistic can talk themselves into anything. |

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 4:54:53 AM @LordJim: Well blow my lips off! Your suggestion is right on top of my suggestion of the exact same story! Different articles are linked I think... @Gerry1: I offered a posting which said how Allah and Muhammed thought "Gay Anal Sex" was A-OK! It was put up for a few minutes then taken down. You want a linky? I got it. damn, my quote marks are off lolz! @Gerry1 you haven't noticed yet? You cannot put quotes AND links in the same post!! @HolyGod: Do you FAIL to understand that the God of Christendom is LUMPED IN with all those other "gods"? When is the last time a follower of Thor or Zues asked if you believed in God (singular)? I think it's OBVIOUS what he's talking about... @alexander: Nope, not even warm. @utlanning07: Nope, hands remain spike-free! (lolz though! welcome to IAB!) |

Monday, July 16, 2012 3:33:22 PM HolyGod - "Funny how the anti-Christian stuff gets posted, but the truth about Islam gets pulled..." Once again. Explain to me how that post says ANYTHING about him referring to the Christian God? He could just as easily be referring to someone of the Jewish or Islamic faith referring to their God as the one true God. So you come in here to b.itch about a post that is biased against Christians over Muslims when in reality it is just talking about God in general. So if every time you see "God" you only can think of the Christian God, then the only biased one is you." BURRNN |

Monday, July 16, 2012 1:37:59 PM If you have more than one god you are a Pagan.Christians have a trio-Father,son, Holy ghost..3. Christian=Pagan. Not really, no. 1) The Christian trinity isn't three gods. It's still one god. It's an odd setup, but they're pretty clear about it being one god. 2) The definition of 'pagan' isn't simply 'theist who believes in more than one god'. It was originally 'theist who doesn't believe in the Abrahamic god'. Now it doesn't really have any meaning, although it implies a follower of a minority religion. |
