Sunday, July 15, 2012 8:11:53 PM Hopefully he was nice enough to offer to pick up the garbage as well, and get it back on the curb. You know, so that the people wouldn't have to store it in their garage for the next weeks pick-up. |

Sunday, July 15, 2012 2:12:26 PM That is one REALLY BAD glider pilot, who long ago before the video started should never have gotten himself into that situation. |

Sunday, July 15, 2012 11:13:21 AM What kind of an a$$hole flies a glider over a residential neighborhood. I think the "emergency" here was horribly poor judgement. |

Sunday, July 15, 2012 11:08:04 AM "Don't think it was a glider, his rate of descent and airspeed was pretty high." Think all you want. It was indeed a glider. Had it been a propelled plane, the wings would have been shorter, reventing it from hitting the mailbox on the other side of the street. You can also tell by how low the plan is to the ground when it landed. The landing gear of a glider is nothing more than a tire under the pilot (you only see the bottom half), a small wheel under the tail and a small wheel near each wing tip. None of them are retractable. |

Sunday, July 15, 2012 9:10:59 AM An emergency landing in a glider equals a failure to plan. |
