@earplay Iran has as much right to nuclear power as any other nation. There has been no evidence that they even have a nuclear weapons program. So far there has only been propaganda. |

It's too bad that innocents have to suffer, but if you don't understand that life is unfair, you are not an adult.
Regarding this video, it is utter propaganda in favor of a fundamental Islamic government. Do you understand the reason separation of church and state or minority rights? According to Sharia law a virgin cannot be executed. So, what happens in Iran when a virgin is sentenced to death? She is raped, then executed. Homosexuality is punishable by death. The government rules by thuggery. Torture is common in their penal system, both before and after trial. According to their law, it is permissible to enslave infidels. Death is the penalty for apostasy. The whole country is a fascistic theocracy that condones and encourages violence against it's own citizens- violence initiated and perpetrated by low-level bureaucrats.

Nice link, sr3nity. I found it interesting. I've got a lot of sympathy for the Iranian people (if not their government). They've got the nearest thing to a functioning democracy in their region, yet they're still subjected to illegal sanctions by the US and others.
I wonder how US citizens will feel, if the balance of power shifts over the next century and countries like China start doing the same thing to American citizens as a consequence of the way the US government has behaved? Imagine you couldn't get the medicine you needed, or had to fly in unsafe aircraft, just because some foreign regime didn't like the way that George Dubya or Barry had behaved?
