I can't help but feel like guys that are enraged about circumcisions are secretly jealous and angry at the state of their affairs. Or had something go wrong with theirs. Maybe I'm wrong and they are just really passionate about circumcisions. |

In Scandinavia boys have less urinary tract infections than in the USA. And 60% of the people in the test that lived in USA were circumcised.

Err yeah as someone who had to be circumcised at 31 due to the early stages of cancer, I would have rather been snipped before the age of memory.
I'm a rare case but before you crusade too heavily against infant circumcision consider this. Imagine about 22 stitches that were put in while you were blessedly unconscious but unfortunately flaccid (kind of like short sheeting a bed) combined with no happy time well beyond the 2.5 weeks or so you have to keep the stitches in.
For those with no imagination: ragers that can occur hourly while sleeping depending on your drive. As soon as you wake up, in more pain than you ever thought possible, it subsides. It's been 5 years, I still have dreams of the pain sometimes and wake up in a cold sweat.
I miss my foreskin, I've lost sensitivity(lost most of my frenulum in the process as well) but when it turned on me and tried to kill me I had no more choice than I would have had as an infant =)

Why is it horrible to take a womans' clitoris off but not a mans foreskin? I like all penis as long as it's happy and healthy. I don't get why you have to cut into a baby. They'll get it cut off if it's really that horrible to have one when they're of an age to consent. |

Your circumcision was for medical reasons (and you have my sympathies). I don't think anyone here is arguing that circumcision for medical reasons is wrong.
The debate is about whether circumcision for NON-medical reasons is justified. |

I have to agree with you. If a little foreskin is enough to be a dealbreaker with a woman then she's clearly not worth being in a relationship with.
Also, hooray for basic hygiene. If your foreskin is "gross" then you need to learn how to bathe yourself. |
