I am by no way behind OWS, but anyone who wants to act like they aren't protesting something that is wrong needs to wake up.
The reality is that Americans are all slaves to the top 1% and that will never change without a violent revolution.
Non-violent protests makes you a laughing stock and gets you arrested. It accomplishes nothing in our current state of being.
Want to change things? Attack a rich man, or a cop or a congressman. What else can you do? |

I hate when I don't notice it's a 5Cats/hack link before clicking. It would be one thing if they had some semblance of substance (of which there are plenty, just never in his links), but no, it's ALL trite political banality.
I-AM-BORED IS LOSING AD REVENUE DUE TO POSTS LIKE THIS. It seems to have really spiked over the past several months. I visit much less frequently, as other sources (reddit, wimp.com, etc.) have the content without nearly as much partisan stupidity. |

@Gerry: The problem is that OWS was seen as merely a bunch of kids looking for a handout. They needed to be smarter about how they went about their protest. I think the majority of people who oppose OWS just oppose the idea of getting handouts, which isn't completely false, because some of the idiots in OWS were actually seeking that. They needed more organization, plain and simple. |
