This was my favourite bit, when Jon Richardson (who'd been giving Jimmy Carr abuse for the whole show) tried to tell an obscure joke about Julian Assange hiding in the Ecuadorian Embassy, and it died on its arse as literally nobody got it, even after he'd explained it. :D |

Not quite. He doesn't want people like Carr using the loopholes, he wants tory donors using them.
Besides, a large part of Cameron's personal wealth is derived from his dad designing these kind of loopholes under Thatcher. |

I hated this whole Jimmy Carr-Tax thing. What he did wasn't illegal, just a loophole. It's what everyone would do if they were presented with the opportunity. When the guy said that it's Cameron's job to "run the economy, and he gets s**t in the papers everyday because he's firing nurses..." That's utter bullsh*t. If he didn't want people like Jimmy Carr using loopholes, he'd plug the loopholes up. Simple as that. |
