Saturday, July 07, 2012 10:27:03 AM I did a smaller version of this in high school. We used a spinning platform with a tall metal mesh around it. Set a fire in the middle and spin the platform. Boom, fire tornado. |

Friday, July 06, 2012 7:12:46 PM Did anyone notice that the pail was glowing bright yellow near the end of that? I wonder if it could get hot enough to melt the pail and spill its propellent. Or just get so hot that all the fuel just flashes. The whole thing is a mesmerizing pyrotechnic display but seems a touch on the uncontrolled side of safety. :/ |
