Sunday, July 08, 2012 9:12:57 AM Why so upset, people. He's just making jokes. In fact, those kinds of jokes are fairly standard among the blind. I'll call him out, tho, on the issue of being unconcerned with appearances. When a new high-school level student arrived at the blind school where I taught, I would be queried by kids of the opposite sex whether or not the new student was cute. Favor accorded, of course, to cuteness. I could tell because I was and am light-dependent. BTW, I think carmium is correct, but that's just I. |

Saturday, July 07, 2012 8:38:29 PM Awesome sense of humor, but he does realize that the people he's mocking for being sympathetic are all that's keeping him alive most of the time? If it weren't for that pity and compassion he would have been hit by a car long ago. Never thought of the lights thing though, that's awesome. He never has to buy a lamp. |

Saturday, July 07, 2012 6:26:56 PM MacGuffin: As a frequent comment poster, you should know better than to say "And for Gerry and I." You would never say "This is for I," so why would say "Gerry and I"? |

MacGuffin, while I appreciate the thought, and your inclusiveness, our tastes are very differant. David Jerkham is way overrated in my book. I go more for the Hugh Jackman type. I'd post his full monty photo but I'd get into trouble.
Oh, and I'm over the blind guy. He's had is 15 minutes of fame. Moving on to some other funny handicap. |
