Sunday, July 08, 2012 12:33:43 PM @zazuch, seems unlikely, the flat earth convition held for millennia had to be sorted with astronomical calculations. You sure it's not the cameras taking pics with a very wide angle lens maybe? Elevation seems necessary to see the earth horizon as is. |

Sunday, July 08, 2012 11:26:44 AM @Sutra46 You can be on land and your eye height is enough. You just have to have a large enough of a line of sight(talking miles like a salt flat(or the landing strip that the space shuttle use to land on etc) and you can see the curvature of Earth. |
