At 17:20, the stupid-ass cop tells the poor guy to answer "yes sir or no sir" to a question that required a narrative answer. This cop cannot even grasp the basic rules of the English language. How the hell is he allowed to carry a gun?

Earlier I saw a picture of something tracy morgan tweeted; "Politicians are like sperm; only one in a million turn out to be human beings"

Except as soon as I read that I thought of law enforcement.

I know police should get SOME slack when deal with a "high stress job" or w/e. But you should seriously be put in jail for assualt on stuff like this. And then probably be beat to poo every day in jail for being a cop.

I'm not sying all cops should get this done to them. Just the ones that are clearly in it just to abuse power.

"Bi-polar disorder is a made up condition that allows people to act out in unacceptable and violent ways, and get narcotic drugs for it."

People abusing the system =/= fake disease.

Keith2, under absolutely no circumstances is it ok to stand on the top of a suspects car and jump on them as soon as the exit the car. under no circumstances is it ok to taze and mace someone repeatedly when they were obeying every order you gave them. Under no circumstances is it ok for anyone with a position of authority to take out their frustrations and abuse their power over the public. Normally I don't make my posts personal, but you sir, are whats wrong with this country. the whole "Don't do anything wrong and the cops won't come down on you" mentality is completely and utter f*cked, and would have our founding fathers rolling in their graves.

"funny how the British police seem to manage to avoid beating people up during simple arrests consistently, whilst with American cops it's always hit first and don't bother asking questions later"

Haha I knew MacGuffin would have something to say about this that included generalizing and stereotyping of Americans...

So predictable.

pooting me, give me something to fix this, my life is a living hell" and the doctor -doesn't-, then perhaps they can be sued for negligence or something when, then, other doctors test that patient and find that yes, they could be suffering from bi-polar disorder and really, that doctor didn't do a thing?

Also, what about anxiety? I had it, for sure, a while back, and I'm still experiencing some symptoms of it on occasion. I was prescribed pills which I took for a while, then I decided I didn't want to be on them anymore. I'm doing better, but not 100%, and I don't blame anyone or anything. But it's real. Why can't bi-polar be real? Did you have an ex or someone who just loved pills more than you?

keith2, as far as bi-polar existing or not, it does. One major case in my life was my Mom's father. She told me that things would get -bad- in that house of two parents, one girl, three boys. Things could also be -awesome- in that house. But he would go into months-long funks, at the very least. I'm sure I've not been told the full story with all it's details. But my memories of my grandfather were not cool, or even good.. I would hang around and play and whatnot, then when it was time to go, I'd get on the couch and hug him and say goodbye and that I loved him, and he would just -stare- at the T.V. No reaction. It affects a kid, time after time. I can't imagine what it was like (along with the details I've not heard) having to actually -live- with the man.

In any case, I think that perhaps some doctors tend to be free-er with their diagnoses because when someone complains that they -swear- they have something, and the doctors says 'you're fine', and that patient says 'are you

This video is horrific :( I'm appalled by the main Trooper's actions, but also those of -every- other officer there, in doing nothing to calm that Trooper down and just simply take the guy to jail/the hospital then jail.

To anyone claiming they are doing their job, you are drating stupid. There is no need to beat someone to a bloody pulp even if he is resisting. The police has enough tools to subdue someone rather harmlessly and according to the situation. Yet blocking someones door than asking him to get out, then beating him like a savage beast, is not something that should be accepted in our society, and it is shocking that people are willing to support this. It is just another testimony to how our society is failing.

Looks like keith is off fighting a war and forgetting the battle. Mate, I understand where you're coming from with the "I have bi-polar disorder pity me" annoyance. However in this particular case the kid was clearly docile and afraid for his life, even before the brutality got rolling. In all honesty, I find seeing you start a quarrel over the whole bi-polar craze childish, stupid and generally just as annoying as the kids who blame their bad attitudes on a psychological disorder.

Kid just got f***ed up. Have some respect.

"I don't feel sorry for *criminals* getting drated up by the police. We can sit here and pass judgement about the civility of these actions because heavy handed sons of bitches behave in uncivilized ways on our behalf."

If you think that a way to punish unruly citizens is by beating them up, you might want to move in to a dictatorship.

This is not the thing you do for drats sake. Killing and torturing citizens for simple offences is what led to huge riots and revolutions. If you believe we should go back to those days, where everybody is in danger of standing in the way of the fist of the law, than I don't believe you should exist within out society, since you endanger our democracy and good living., and you are a disgusting person.

i can admit the guy was stupid for not pulling over. that does not excuse ANYTHING that happened to him. i live in PA, in a town where i put my car on cruise control for every street i turn on for the posted limit because there is an unheard of cop to civilian ratio and if you go 5 above the speed limit at any given moment for pressing the gas a hair too hard and not sharply braking to bring the speed back down you will get lights behind you. a town where if you turn on your own street while a cop is behind you you worry that they will see that as probable cause since they can call that eluding. i am not a criminal but i am very afraid of cops and their unpredictable pompous attitudes.

Ok, so show me a "real" case of bi-polar disorder. Actually, explain to me one documented example where treatment for it has shown marked progress. I'll be back in awhile to check on things.

While I understand non-compliance that in of itself is no justification for less-than-lethal force. Ultimately these police officers decided to let their suspect know of their collective frustration in the worst way possible.

Meanwhile in many drug possesion/DUI cases this is what happens:

1)Pull suspect out of car
2)Apply handcuffs
3)Place in squad car and drive to station.
4)Have a nice day.

Notice how "baton", "nightstick", or "tazer" weren't mentioned.

If there really is such a disorder, the high distribution of individuals playing the system has skewed my views to such the extreme that I see it for what it has become.

"Wow. How very ignorant and uniformed of you..."

Says the guy who doesn't see or deal with these a-holes on a daily basis. Walk down any neighborhood or trailer park street, you can't show me a tattooed shirtless saggy pants punk who doesn't have so called "bi-polar" disorder, and who doesn't get xanax or kolopin for it. There's at least 2K of them in this lil white trash suburb alone. Guess what, they all have bi-polar.

"It's not made up.

You don't get narcotics for it."

I refuse to dignify anyone who plays their extreme mood swings (always turns out to be anger issues in the end) off as a disorder. It's called stop committing acts of aggression, anger, and general douchebaggery in the name of a fake condition and to get drugs.

If there really is such a disorder, the high distribution of individuals playing the system has skewed my views to such the extreme that I see it for what it has become.

The trick to not getting your ass beat by the police is to be respectful, follow instructions, and obey the laws set in place by your fellow citizens.

It works like a charm. This dude would not have gotten worked over if he had pulled over when he saw lights and sirens.
