@steelgrid: idk if you've heard me say this already (I've said it a few times here at AIB) but I'll say:
I submit lots of stuff too! Some gets posted, others not. I think a LOT of the rejected material is WAY better than what the mod-bots post, but it's not my site so... what can I do?
Complain a lot! lolz! That's what!
I certainly don't know any Mods, and I doubt any of them would post stuff just because a "buddy" suggested it.
@FancyLad might, idk, BUT it's HIS site! So he CAN ok?
Other than that: keep suggesting! |

I've never noticed any favoritism. Nor do I know anyone from this site IRL. I've had lots of posts approved (under different screen names) but that would be the only indication that anyone who manages this site likes me, if that's an indication at all. And almost 100% of the stuff I've submitted has gotten minimal comments.
Have you considered the possibility that they just don't think your submissions fit the 'formula' Steelgrid?
Also, I'm sure some people out there would feel privileged to have had any of their submissions approved at all, and you've had 7. |

Steelgrid i must say that i've a good luck so, cause my posts are often published and i assure you that i don't know anyone personaly and IRL from the staff of IAB. I don't know what to say... i'm sorry, i feel a little bit guilty now also if there is no real reason. |

Yeah I would say by the plethora of people complaining about the BS favoritism post approvals on this site this year that I am not the only one tired of the crap ass posts approved from the same people over and over.
More than likely its people who know the mods IRL and the mods figure, "Oh Ill just post anything you put up there cause I know you!!"
That or they have decided to approve submissions based on possible forum reactions rather than posting something actually funny or a decent game.
Man I miss IAB, from 6 years ago. |
