Wednesday, July 04, 2012 6:36:55 PM Almost as much fun as putting salt on a slug and watching it's flesh melt. |

Wednesday, July 04, 2012 9:33:35 AM @inaria & spanerbulb: In, your profile says 'Canada'; span, yours, Europe. The poster claims to be on the east coast (of the U.S., I presume). I have lived most of my life on the west coast of the U.S. There, the razor clams that are legal to bag need to be a certain length. All the razor clams I took there were at least 5" long and taken, shell and all. Each would make at least five times the meat of the one we see here. Happy Independence Day!!! |

Wednesday, July 04, 2012 5:08:01 AM @Nettech: Bait: Six-pack abs, stylish clothes and shoes, an aura of confidence, and a wallet stuffed with Benjamin Franklins. Tackle: A big rod, the stiffer the flex, the better. |

Tuesday, July 03, 2012 3:36:14 PM @Sectsktn Little bubbles coming up through a small hole in sand is a pretty good indicator that something is living underneath it. |

Tuesday, July 03, 2012 2:16:16 PM Why would you want to eat a clam? Um, because many folks find them delicious, they are free if you do this, and they are a healthy meat option. |

Tuesday, July 03, 2012 1:55:22 PM @ssalty um no, he pulled out the entire clam... The bottom part was the foot clearly shaped as an "anchor" which is how clams burrow in and out of sand. |

Tuesday, July 03, 2012 1:52:49 PM When the zombie apocalypse hits and I'm forced to eat bags of semen/eggs (clams) for sustenance, I'll be glad I watched this video. |

Tuesday, July 03, 2012 1:42:47 PM No, obviously, you need a shovel or a clam gun (tube with handles on top and a 'vacuum hole' for your thumb). All this DB got was the neck. Most of the clam and the shell are still in the sand. |
