Now for non-political comments; first off, f-ck sarah silverman. She's absolutely NOT something that makes america badass. She's not funny and she's not hot.
Also, madonna may have been a musical pioneer, but she's stolen music a # of times over the years and looks a little like an alien monster nowadays. She flashed one of her funbags on tour. Rolling stone had the picture; it was horrifying.
On the other hand there were enough appropriately awesome things and actually hot chicks to counterbalance. Bettie page could have had her way with me, and that pole vaulter is just crazy fine. An honorable mention goes out to the beer bong and duct tape chicks as well. They're doing it right.

Of which Canada had 1/4 of the forces (D-Day) and we fought on 2 of those fronts with 1/10 the population... since 1939... just sayin.
As for WWI it was a stalemeate up until we entered.
@MacGovern: You are 100% correct that the USA aided both UK and USSR before entering WW2 (illegally? yes, but I'm not complaining!)
However in WW1 the US contribution was mostly "too little too late" eh?
The Allies (France UK and Canada) had survived the collapse of the Russian front and the unleashing of the Stormtroopers, right? Vimy Ridge had fallen (yay Canada!) and the writing was on the wall for Germany.
No offense, but stick to cheering about WW2... Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm & etc. |
