Monday, July 02, 2012 10:16:50 AM (if that makes any sense) Makes sense to me! Thanks for answering! Having a phobia doesn't make you a "weido"! Having a fetish might... |

Monday, July 02, 2012 9:48:06 AM No, your eights and o's do not bother me..I know The whole hole phobia sounds silly,I do not get it myself. The logic part of my brain tells me the fear is silly, and that there is nothing to be afraid of. However, The phobia just is..I cannot explain it..it is just there..and no it is not just any holes..the holes have to be arranged in a certain way on a certain surface (if that makes any sense) in order for it to really bother me....don't worry LOL..I am not a wierdo that locks myself up from the world in fear of holes are out to get me lol it is something I just learned to deal with, and if that certain hole ridden thing pops up or comes around me..I just don't look at it..even though I may shudder at the thought..I still carry on with my day.. |

Monday, July 02, 2012 8:42:45 AM @TKD_Master: There's nothing to "get" about a phobia, they just ARE. They (usually) can be cured but it takes lots of time and willpower. In the case of trypophobia idk if the trouble to cure it is worth it. To y'all who suffer from it: Just how often do you see this sort of thing? Aside from the internet... IS it ANY sort of holes? That would be bad, worth curing then! |

Monday, July 02, 2012 6:29:30 AM If this is the image I think it is, I already seen it last year and it is terrifying...my wonderful husband to be,thought my fear of holes was a strange thing (which it is I understand)and took it upon himself to put my fear to the test..the end results were not pretty..he now knows to never show me things like that again.I am glad to see I am not the only one here with trypophobia...more things that I hate are Swiss cheese, real sponges, and other various objects with holes that I just choose not to look at lol. |

Monday, July 02, 2012 5:08:54 AM I used to think natural sponges = EWW. But I've gotten over it ever since visiting a high end soapland in Japan. |

Monday, July 02, 2012 4:44:42 AM Anime has made me trypophobic; I can't stand seeing people with bugs coming out of their humps/holes in the humps because of Vampire Hunter D (and other movies/series). This sure doesn't help!! |
