Aldwych Station is quite familiar to most London commuters, I've used it myself between '91 and '92 when I was fresh out of college in my first proper job. Now it gets used for films all the time it's actually cleaner than when it was in use everyday.

Basically, anyone who has taken the tube knows of such stations - Heck, the train goes past some of them, if you look out you can see them flash by in their dimmed glory.
