Monday, June 25, 2012 9:50:48 AM I have seen this woman. I don't know her but I recognize that Diamond tattoo. I work at Colfax and Broadway. There is a drug dealer that works on that corner. I saw her "talking" to him. |

Sunday, June 24, 2012 2:48:53 AM I must confess that I have no understanding of this modern "art" and even much less for schmucks who buy a piece of something that lookl like made by a toddler and pay four to seven figure sums for that crap. |

Sunday, June 24, 2012 12:05:55 AM Tell me about it! - There really is no greater relief than waking up and finding you haven't killed someone, just wizzed on a $30M painting! |

Saturday, June 23, 2012 11:19:20 PM Paintings are useless, of no practical value. $30M? I think whoever priced that is on drugs. I wouldn't even pay $2 for that shxtty drawing, that looks as if a 5 year old produced it. I'd urinate on that as well. |

Saturday, June 23, 2012 10:09:57 PM thelonious: She wasn't the Albert Hofmann of bathsalts. The risks were well documented long before it was noticed by the media. |

Saturday, June 23, 2012 10:03:21 PM Yes, before anyone touches their tongue on any substance anywhere in the universe they are required to have a full understanding of the impact this substance has to all of their neurotransmitting facilities and autonomic nervous system. LOL. Someone is sounding lawyerly. |

Saturday, June 23, 2012 9:59:19 PM I think it's sad and pathetic that people blame a drug for something THEY do. Unless you were injected something or forced to ingest it at gunpoint the one responsible is you. Sure it might be like dropping a cannon ball from a tall building, it can be a novel way of cracking a nut or it could hit someone on the head. The one dropping it was still you. Don't blame it on not having control of the falling ball. |

Saturday, June 23, 2012 9:46:11 PM For what it's worth, I'm sure it wasn't a $30M loss. Paintings undergo cleaning and restoration all the time. I'm sure the restorers have some painstaking procedure they use to wash urine off oil paint. |

Saturday, June 23, 2012 8:10:51 PM And yes, the art world is completely out of touch with reality and is constantly trying to sucker more people into becoming cool, hip, chic collectors so that there is an actual market for this crap. When Revolutioniz said "...looks like it had buckets of paint thrown at it..." I thought maybe a Jackson Pollock, and even then I thought...maybe 30M. But this is crap that is large and if they included her story and kept her contribution on the canvas it would probably increase the value of it because the art world is absolutely insane. |
