My girls are already grown up and I can't steal this idea. Dang Blamitt!! All those that can. You sooo should do this. I can't imagine how that would make a child feel.
I almost feel like I'm at a grown up website now. Almost.
Smartest father with complete devotion to his daughter. Father of the generation. I'm sooooo jealous.
@5cats - you are soooo right. She Sooo would much rather have the Dr. Suess book. I mean what I say, and I say what I mean. (2nd grade teacher)(not really, I made that up). |

That is sweet...never would have worked for me, though. I had a few evil teachers here and there, 3rd grade especially. She locked one of my friends in a closet for talking in class, and he transferred to a different school for the rest of the year. Good thing my parents didn't have her write a note for me to read later about how I was an obnoxious little smartass brat who she hated.
I worked with a guy who, when he was in high school, had a (male) teacher start crying and just leave in the middle of class. The principal came and substituted for the rest of the day, and the following Monday they found out the teacher committed suicide. |
