Fast & Furious = 20,000 guns that at least one was used to KILL A US BORDER PATROL AGENT.

And do YOU ALSO realize that while Holder attempted to say that the Bush Attourney General was fully aware of Fast & Furious (that did not begin until AFTER Obama was sworn in), when asked to provide PROOF, Holder had to retract that statement (oops, another 'misstatement of fact', what other people would call a 'lie'.) |

Do you guys realize that the ATF gunwalking operation began in 2006? That's two years before Obama became president.
February 2006:
'With assurance from ATF "that Mexican officials would be conducting surveillance or interdictions when guns got to the other side of the border", Detty would sell a total of about 450 guns during the operation. These included AR-15s, semi-automatic AK-pattern rifles, and Colt .38s. The vast majority of the guns were eventually lost as they moved into Mexico.'

FoolsPrussia: Not only did Obama say that the DC gun ban was constitutional, before it was overthrown by the SCOTUS, he had AG Holder announce their intention to permanently reinstate the so-called "assault" weapons ban that expired in 2004. Obama also supported HR 2640 (the "Veterans Disarmament Act"), which became law in 2007 and permanently strips gun ownership rights from U.S. military veterans whom they deemed to have PTSD or ADHD.
If that weren't enough there's HR 45 which would create a government database of gun owners, make you a criminal if you don't register your gun(s), criminalize the act of moving your residence without reporting it to the government, require a photo ID gun license, requires a thumbprint, training, and disclosure of gun storage method, would make a criminal of you if your gun is lost or stolen and you don't report it - and on top of all that, it would require each gun owner to pay a fee for all of this reaming! |

This is why I laughed at your Obama/Nixon picture. That's such an incredible stretch of the imagination. The Fast and Furious program is moronic, but Obama has done nothing, absolutely nothing to signal that he wants stricter gun laws. If he wanted to do something about gun control, he had a great opportunity to do so after Gabby Giffords was shot, but he never tried. |

This sort of entrapment oriented politics is exactly what we don't need. Holder allowed guns to walk for political gain, Brian Terry and others paid a terrible price for his malfeasance. |

Holder has been caught lying under oath multiple time:
"I probably heard about F&F for the first time in the last few weeks"-Holder (e-mails prove he had known about it for almost a year).
Holder claimed that it started under the Bush AG, then, when asked to provide proof, had to retract that statement this week.
Holder claimed that an e-mail that contained the phrase 'Fast & Furious Program' was, in fact, not talking about Fast & Furious.
They had to formally withdraw a letter that stated that the ATF did not sanction the sale of assault weapons for the program.
The only difference is that when a Democrat lies under oath, it's classified as a 'misstatement of facts' and is overlooked.
Obama's administration was using F&F to set up a case to strengthen gun laws. It blew up in his face and he's dancing as hard as he can to make sure it never comes to light. |
