Really bad case of bad use of terminology and wording in an article. The sperm was dead, because of the way squid reproduce, the spermataphores (sperm sacks) are adhesive. Like all other animals, squid sperm is microscopic and this old lady could not have felt a sperm squiggling. |

poo, I never thought of that. I guess when squid reproduce they actually kind of just shoot sperm at other squid and the sperm latch on and dig in which then impregnates the female, but I didn't realize it happened on a large enough scale that one could actually feel them. I thought we were talking microscopic sizes.
Well, I guess we can look at it this way; be glad our little tadpole soldiers don't work like that, or that would be the end of oral sex as we know it. |

From another article on the same thing:
'When examined, the doctors found 'baby cephalopods' attached to her mouth. These are small pods, covered in a cement-like material to make them stick.
Inside the pods is an 'ejaculatory apparatus' and sperm - with the apparatus expelling the sperm quite forcefully.'
So it wasn't actually 12 spermatozoas, it was sperm pods. Sounds more believable. |

Anyway the story is obviously untrue, when was the last time anyone saw a stripper with a clockspring long enough for a louse to latch onto? |

Yeah, I'm calling BS on this. It's as apocryphal as the story about a guy being hit in the face with a stripper's discarded thong, only to discover he had a public lice living in his eye when he went to see the doctor some time later. |
