No matter how many times civilization falls and rises again. It will continually happen until the sin and wickedness is put away. Perhaps there will be laws against greed in the future. But it only takes 1 person to open the flood gates, thinking selfishly, then another, and another, and another will follow, then more and more. and we're back to where we are today.

I love how they seem to end with their prediction ending in some kind of utopia. Completely impossible, they fail to account for the greed of man. There will always be those trying to cheat the system, regardless of the system. |

the internet cannot change fundamental human nature it can only give a voice to it.
while i do see the world's govs changing over the next wfew decades as they always do, the idea that the net will release peopole from poltical parties is just silly.
why? because there is something more powerful out there than the net, two things really,
IDEAS - they never die (even though the people that start them do)
BELONGING - people will awlways ban together with other like minded people, thus poltical parties will always exist in one form or another.
also, the idea that anyone can be president this way? sorry, money will ALWAYS talk until and if people find a way to get rid of money in favor of something more like star trek (whatever that system is). |

Who is going to build (or rebuild) the infrastructure needed for this global network? If WWIII happens, how many cell towers, digital cable networks, and satellites are going to still be around to allow this glorious global internet community to manifest? This is all crap.
