So, I see this picture and I think: "This is terrible. How can anyone laugh at a guy who's face is on fire?" Then I realize I'm on I-A-B and I deliberately chose to see this pictures every day. Greece is going to fiscal hell in a handbasket and all its population seems to be capable of is rioting in protest of austerity measures. Good idea! Let's drive away what tourist income they have left! The police are there to keep the city from burning down and all IAB posters do is side with the rioters. |

I just discovered this has been posted a while back.
This event was a little more than a year ago.
I myself am Greek and was there present at the event. Fortunately the police officer was not seriously injured and was only hospitalized for a week with nothing as much as a 2nd degree burn. He was interviewed soon after the event and was well without any visible damage. Thank God.

It would be cool IF it were from a movie (ie: special effects) but since a real Good Guy is getting set on fire by Evil Rioters it's NOT cool.
